Welcome to Walter's New Website

Art is such an important part of our lives with it's all encompassing variety of media. We are all artists in one way or another; just give a child a crayon or paint and see what happens! Most of the time we are inspired by our environment and the experiences we gather. Your outlook on art depends on where you live. Living in Northern Ontario's nature influences me and inspires me to create my pieces. Life is more relaxed here. In my opinion, the big bustling cities with the multitude of  stimulii entering the brain is often overwhelming and is reflected in the art created. The end result is vastly different from that of what is created by someone who is influenced by the calm and serenity of nature.

Through travel we are also inspired.  Impressions, colour, and form from other countries, cultures and artists enriches our lives and as an end result is reflected in the art we create and the media we use.

My personal passion is flower gardening. By creating landscaping my garden is another way to express myself in an artistic fashion not only in the fresh air but it also inspires me to paint.

Art and inspiration are all around us.  With a keen eye, an altered perspective and an open heart and mind we can find the beauty in everything.
